Incorporating layers of paper, graphite, acrylic, sweat and tears! I was intent on creating a piece full of joy, sunshine and vibrant colors. 30" x 40" Mixed media on wood panel. Incorporating acrylics, paper, tissue paper, fabric and more. This vibrant painting just took over and demanded to make it so. As the clock ticks, many of us aspire to live as if we will be here forever.   $1800  

This painting is about the feeling of being human and the possibilities of transformation. We come in all shapes and sizes with our own challenges, but we are ultimately like the lotus flower, which arises from the mud to become its beautiful self. 20" x 20"   $695

My Message in a Bottle series goes abstract. The delight of hot colors against such a cool backdrop both calms and sparks the senses! Part of the Message in a Bottle series, which explores the themes of connection, isolation and healing as inspired by 100 letters written in 1918-1919 by a grandfather I never met. (see below) Mixed media on wood panel, incorporating acrylic, graphite, and letters and words from a grandfather written to his wife (my grandmother)   during WWI. This series was inspired by a line from a letter penned in September 1918, when my grandfather suggested that my grandmother counteract her lonesomeness and worry with a mental 'remedy' in which she should think only of the day they would be together again.  It was, he said, how he was coping. 30" x 40" $1500
