Thursday 6-8 is the opening of the Color and Line Exhibition at the New Coast Studios Gallery in Palo Alto. There will be work from 20 artists covering a great variety of media. Can’t wait to see how the other artists approach their color and line.
For me, color is a way of life. It may seem like an easy task using dye on silk to get and hold the color you want, but it’s tricky. It’s a slippery slope. A small addition of another color or water can change EVERYTHING. Line, on the other hand is even more difficult. Now you see the line. Now you don’t. Did someone say ‘a straight line’? Anyway, I’ll report back on the event.
