My work takes me in a variety of exciting directions.
(1) Painting on silk is an ancient, intriguing artistic medium. Silk was once the currency of the East–traded for other exotic goods, such as spices and tea. The Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese all have strong traditions of creative artistic expression in silk going back thousands of years. Silk can transmit its beauty in so many ways. It is equally luscious and vibrant as a painting, a hanging, a layered collage or a gorgeous wrap.

(2) Mixed media and acrylic paintings allow for dynamic expressions. Through the build up color, markings, objects and movement, I can explore the nature of harmony/tension in the world, the aesthetics of visual poetry and ideas that relate to the life of a seeker.
